The new bridge, built in 2018, offers a stunning view from above. Unlike typical bridges, it connects the historical regions of Aukštaitija and Žemaitija, blending past and present with its unique wood and steel design. At night, the bridge illuminates beautifully with functional and LED lighting.
Historically, the bridge site dates back to 1602, with the current pedestrian bridge reconstructed in the mid-20th century. Notably, bronze reliefs on the bridge commemorate the 1831 Kėdainiai battle, adding a touch of history. The bridge’s design, reminiscent of icebreakers, adds a unique charm to the landscape
