This place is famous for the collection of Cherry Blossom, which bloom in early April attracting a lot of people. There are so many flowers, and the trees form a kind of tunnel. But the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is more than Cherry Blossom. There are more than 12000 species, in a area attached to Prospect Park (like Brooklyn's Central Park), with lots of green space and beautiful flowers. Among the highlights, a Bonsai museum,, some up to 60 years old. The tulip gardens are also gorgeous, in addition to the rose garden. And there is also the Japanese Garden. Lovely walking around the lake, passing under the flowering trees and feeling the breeze. Honestly, you can spend a peaceful day at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden without noticing the time passing.
