Russell Glacier is a glacier in Greenland that flows from the Greenland ice sheet in a western direction. Located 25 km east of Kangerlussuaq, it's an active glacier that advances 25 meters every year. With easy access for tourists, it's a popular spot to visit and marvel at the beauty of nature. Beneath the glacier, there's evidence of methane cycling, indicating its significance in the subglacial ecosystem.
