Cathedral Gorge is a stunning natural wonder located in Purnululu National Park. It is a deep, narrow gorge with towering sandstone walls and a large, open cave with a plung pool in the middle. It is a natural amphitheater and we highly recommend trying and singing a song in there! The area is also known for its Aboriginal rock art, which can be seen in the gorge walls.

Easy 2 km walk from the Piccaninny Carpark.

Photo tip: visit just after sunrise or before sunset for the best lighting and lesser crowds!

It is in a National Park so make sure you have a Western Australia National Park Pass
