Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park is a stunningly beautiful lake surrounded by majestic mountains. Its vibrant blue color comes from the rock flour deposited by melting glaciers. Visitors can enjoy leisurely hikes along the shoreline or rent a canoe to paddle through the turquoise waters. The lake is accessible year-round, with winter offering a magical snowy landscape and summer showcasing its peak vibrance. Parking can be a challenge during busy times, but it is still less busy than Lake Louise or Moraine lake. One of the best lakes in the region in my opinion!
