Mkinvartsveri is a majestic peak located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Georgia. It stands 5,054 meters above sea level and offers a breathtaking view from its top! It has an engrossing history as an extinct volcano that is believed to have erupted around 580,000-11,700 years ago. This picturesque setting has also been the source of the fastest river in Georgia – the Tergi. With vibrant glaciers such as Suatisi, Mna, Ortsveri, and Devdaraki, this peak sure looks like something out of a fantasy novel. If you dare, this beautiful hike can be tackled by amateurs with proper preparation, equipment, and a professional guide at the right time (second half of summer to middle of September). The climb up Mkinvartsveri will definitely be worth your time and effort, plus the marvelous memories it will bring you!
