The Osaka City Sewerage Science Museum is a unique and educational destination for anyone interested in the science of wastewater and sewage management. Located near the mouth of the Yodo River, this museum showcases six floors of interactive exhibits, activities and videos devoted to understanding the intricacies of Osaka’s raw sewage systems. Visitors can participate in simulated rain intensities, explore ancient sewers around the world and make their way through a giant toilet seat to discover the processing of wastewater. There’s also an underground explorer 4D movie, a theater of water and a thermostatic botanical garden with plants grown hydroponically. With the museum always free of charge, it offers a great opportunity to learn about the essential services provided by sewers while having fun!
There's no ticket to get, the entrance is for free!
