Nupsstadur is a stunning place located in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, SW Iceland. It's a great spot for tourists to visit and admire the historic buildings of a traditional Icelandic farm and its turf church from centuries ago. Visitors can explore this area by walking along the road and taking photos of the old buildings or by visiting the nearby chapel, one of the few remaining turf churches in all of Iceland. It's interesting to hear the story about the two brothers Eyjolfur and Filippus Hannesson who never married and donated the property to the government before passing away. Nupsstadur is a truly unique and picturesque setting that visitors won't want to miss.
