Hverfjall Volcano in Iceland is one of the best circular volcanic craters in the world. It is very easy to park at the foot of Hverfjall. To reach the car park, take the 848 around Lake Myvatn and turn at the Hverfjall sign between the Dimmuborgir and Grjótagjá sites. The crater being seen from very far away, it seems impossible to take the wrong path.

The site is accessible all year round, winter and summer.
