Regnboga Vegur, commonly known as Rainbow Road, is a colorful street in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland that was created to show support for the LGBTQ+ community of the town. This eye-catching street features a bright rainbow painted along its full length and curves around up to the charming Blue Church of Seyðisfjörður. The first annual Pride Parade of the town was established by a resident named Snorri in 2014 when they couldn't travel to Reykjavik for the parade. Since then, hundreds of people participate each year in the Parade. The locals repaint the road every so often to keep the colors vibrant. It's perfect for a short visit and photo opportunity, especially during the summer while the roads are favorable. It's also nice to admire the Blue Church located nearby, adding a mysterious atmosphere to the already postcard-like setting!
