From road 1, take road 215 to get to Black Sand Beach Reynisfjara.

Reynisfjara, located off the South Coast of Iceland near the village of Vik í Myrdal, is a beautiful black-sand beach that offers so much to explore. Aside from its striking basalt stacks and roaring Atlantic waves, there are also legends of trolls turning to stone in the area. It's also home to thousands of nesting seabirds like puffins, fulmars and guillemots which makes it a must-visit spot for birdwatchers. But be sure to follow safety guidelines when visiting - sneaker waves can take you by surprise and powerful rip currents can drag you out to sea. Visiting Reynisfjara is an experience you won't forget - make sure to include it on your next Icelandic adventure!
