The Kolpa River is our favorite place to go camping in Slovenia. This river marks the border between Slovenia and Croatia. This is a spot not widely known amongst foreigners, but it is where local Slovenians go during their family vacations.

The spot tagged here is one of the Camp options along Kolpa. We like this spot because it has a lot of natural shade on the camp and because the access to the river here is amazing for spending the day. However, there are many other campsites along the river if you would rather stay in another spot.
