The Butchers' Bridge in Ljubljana is a footbridge that connects the Central Market to the Petkovškovo nabrežje embankment. It was opened in 2010 and features sculptures by Jakov Brdar. This bridge is also known as the Lover's Bridge because couples in love started attaching padlocks to the bridge shortly after its opening. The bridge was originally planned in the 1930s by architect Jože Plečnik but was not built until 2010, completing his vision for the Ljubljana Market area.

Pro tip: Watching the sunset from this bridge is beautiful since you have the view of the sun going down behind the buildings and the orange colors reflecting on the river.
