Lacco Ameno is a charming town on the island of Ischia, known for its beautiful seaside location. The town is quite small and the perfect place if you want to spend a more relaxing holiday and go to the beach.

The town is quite popular for the "Fungo" (Mushroom), a rock resembling a mushroom located in the town.

I loved exploring this town, but didn't spend more than 2 hours here. I wouldn't consider it a must visit, especially if you are in Ischia only for 1/2 days. If you come for 3/4 days then you can add it to your itinerary, as it's located in between the most popular towns of Ischia Porto and Forio.

It's easily reachable with public transport.
