Piazza Mincio is the heart of Quartiere Coppedè, a unique area of Rome with its own distinct architectural style. The square is an interesting place, perfect for architecture lovers and photographers.

At its center stands the Fountain of the Frogs, detailed with carvings inspired by the natural world. Around the square are some remarkable buildings; visitors will quickly recognize the ‘Palazzo del Ragno’ with its mosaic of a spider above the main entrance and the imposing Coppedè archway with its spectacular cobalt ceilinged loggia. Finally, just beyond at Via Olona stands the Villino delle Fate – a building with a magical looking turret that gives this area a genuinely fairy-tale vibe.
