Castello Sforzesco, or Sforza's Castle, is a magnificent medieval fortification located in Milan. Built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, it has been restored and enlarged over the centuries to become one of the largest citadels in Europe! Today, Castello Sforzesco is a public museum, housing an array of fascinating art collections from various eras such as that of Leonardo da Vinci and Bramante. Its grounds are also a popular park for visitors to enjoy, with its beautiful fountains and historic ambiance.
