The Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva is an iconic Medieval church located in Rome. Architecturally, the church features a Renaissance style façade with one of the most impressive Gothic interiors in any church overall. Many famous works of art can be found inside as well as notable burials, including that of Galileo Galilei.

Within the same grounds there is also an obelisk dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis along with several other small obelisks known as the Obelisci Isei Campensis. At the present day, Santa Maria Sopra Minerva stands as a timeless testament to Catholicism and a strong example of breathtaking Gothic architecture.
