Message from Francesco Meola

Vico Totò, or Totò’s Alley, is a street in the Quartieri Spagnoli rich with history. It houses the definitive collection of murals dedicated to the iconic comic actor and Napoli legend Antonio “Totò” De Curtis. The 800-meter stretch of Via Portacarrese displays a dozen works of art featuring Emilio Leneri, Luca Carnevale, Mario Castri Farina, Stefano Gallucci, Genny Spray, Nicola Masuottolo, Michele Wuk, Pasquale Manzo, 3SHA, Lino Raimondi, Salvatore Iodice and Demon. Here, visitors can find Totò wearing superhero costumes, dressed in drag, wearing skull caps and more! Additionally, Leone Peretti painted murals honoring three other Napoli greats: Dries 'Ciruzzz' Mertens, Lorenzo 'il magnifico' Insigne and Marek 'Marechiaro' Hamsik. Vico Totò is an absolute must see for any Napoli fan!
