The Royal Palace of Naples is an impressive and historically significant building located in central Naples. An architectural masterpiece, the palace has been beautifully designed with Italian Baroque and Neoclassical styles that bring an ambiance of regal opulence to the area. The palace has served its purpose as a grandiose residence since it was first commissioned by the Spanish King Philip III in the 17th century. Its impressive facade overlooks the bustling Piazza del Plebiscito square, attracting many tourists from around the world.

It's possible to explore the lovely interior featuring resplendent frescoes, antiques, paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts. Besides being a tourist destination, the palace is also home to the National Library of Vittorio Emanuele III and the famous San Carlo theatre. Perfectly encapsulating both its historical and contemporary roles, the Palazzo Reale di Napoli is truly an exquisite example of exquisite craftsmanship and artistry.

The price to visit is €15 (adult ticket) and it's possible to purchase the tickets at the ticket office or online (I'd do this only in high season)
