The Royal Gardens at the Reggia di Caserta are a stunning blend of Italian and French influences, thanks to the genius of architect Luigi Vanvitelli. Spread over 76 hectares, the park features impressive fountains, statues, and lush greenery that create a magical atmosphere. Originally designed in the 18th century, the gardens were completed by Vanvitelli's son Carlo, who added his own touch while staying true to the original vision. Visitors can explore the picturesque pathways, discover hidden corners, and immerse themselves in the beauty of this historical masterpiece.

The gardens are bigger than they look, from the palace to the English garden it's 3 km / 1.86 miles, and it takes about 45/50 minutes to reach them. If it's summer it's super hot, so remember to bring with you a bottle of water (drinking fountains weren't working when I visited). There is plenty to see in the park, and it will take approximately 2/3 hours to visit, 4/5 if you want to see everything.

The ticket to the park costs €9, but I recommend buying the combined ticket with the Royal Palace, which costs €18 (worth every penny in my opinion). Make sure to buy them online though.
