Its origins date back to the Unification of Italy in the 19th Century where it became the place to go for the city's upper class. Today this renowned café still brings in the city's biggest names providing great food and entertainment. If you consume at the counter, Gambrinus is not very expensive. Espresso is €1.60 and croissant are around €1.30 to €1.60. If you decide to sit, prices will definitely be higher.
