This is beautiful hike and you'll get rewarded with absolutely fantastic views over the Bernese moutain peaks.

You can of course go straight up with the cable car to the Brienzer Rothorn just for the view and photos. But I truly recommend to start your hike at Jänzimatt / where you can get by bus. From there the hike goes over Höch Gumme towards Brienzer Rothorn. Of course you can also to the hike the reverse way (but you knees need to be intact).
