Zmutt is easy to reach along a gentle footpath from Zermatt. About 20 dark wooden houses radiate tranquillity and the peace of the solitary mountains. The small houses are closely huddled, as if they wanted to protect each other from the whims of nature. Its such a lovely and relaxing walk if you want to do an activity away from the crowds. and if you are lucky as well you will see some blacknose sheep :)

You can do the hike from Zermatt village towards Furi or take the cable car to Furi. From there you follow the indications to Zmutt and after exploring the little village and maybe enjoying a refreshing drink you can head back the Zmuttweg towards Zermatt.
