Carlisle Bay in Barbados is a crescent-shaped bay with a rich history as a natural harbor and once bustling with merchant vessels. Named after the Earl of Carlisle, this bay is now a hotspot for catamarans, luxury yachts, and watersports enthusiasts. With its calm waters, sandy beaches, and vibrant marine life, Carlisle Bay is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and diving among the six shipwrecks that lie beneath the surface. Visitors can also enjoy the lively atmosphere at Harbour Lights nightclub or relax on the Bay Street Esplanade while watching the sunset.
