The Royal Palace of Madrid is one of the grandest monuments in Spain, with its stunning Baroque and Classicism architectural style. It has 3,418 rooms over 135,000 square meters of grandeur, making it the largest royal palace in Europe. Guests are welcome to visit the inside of the palace to witness magnificent works of art, such as Velazquez's Las Meninas. They can also explore the many lush garden areas around the palace, such as Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro. An admission fee is required and the palace is open to the public unless otherwise stated. A once Muslim era fortress built by Emir Muhammad I of Cordoba which was later remodeled and extended by a number of Spanish rulers, the Royal Palace of Madrid will surely be a remarkable experience for all who visit!
