The Teide Observatory, located on Mount Teide in Tenerife, Spain, is a cool spot for stargazing. Since 1964, it's been run by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias and has hosted telescopes from all over the world thanks to its primo astronomical conditions. You can find solar telescopes, nocturnal telescopes, and even radio telescopes for cosmic microwave background astronomy up there.

When we were there (you can see in my photos), we looked at the sun and even at a couple of stars during the day!
If you are interested in astronomy, this is a cool place to visit, but you cannot enter on your own, only by tour. I am leaving a link below for the tour our family took.
