While this onsen definitely has some appeal due to its retro charm, it's probably one of my least favorites in Kinosaki because it's quite small, can get crowded pretty quickly, and does not have an open-air bath. Unless you are doing "visit all the 7 onsens of Kinosaki," I would skip this one.

This onsen is completely tattoo-friendly.
