Carrick Castle is a cool 14th-century tower house sitting on the west shore of Loch Goil in Scotland. It's like a medieval fortress with thick walls and a central great hall, standing tall at 64 feet high. Built by the Campbells back in the day, it was even visited by Mary, Queen of Scots! The place has seen some action too, like during Argyll's Rising when it got burnt down. But now, it's being restored and looking pretty snazzy. Overall, Carrick Castle is a historic gem with a touch of royal flair and a dash of drama thrown in for good measure.
