Overwhelmed with the number of awesome ‘things to do’ in Iceland? Not sure how much you can do and see each day? Not enough time to research and plan your own itinerary? With a personalised itinerary, I will take care of all these things!

When building YOUR unique itinerary, I will consider:
🗓️ The length of your trip, including arrival and departure days
🏃 Your preferred pace (do you want to sleep in, fully enjoy each sight, and drive as little as possible OR do you want to see and do as much as possible OR something in between?)
👪 The number of travelers in your group, relationships to one another, ages, and physical abilities
👍 The activities and sights you are most interested to do and see
🤑 Your general budget
✔️ Any bookings or reservations you have already made (car rental, hotel, activities, etc.)

What’s Included:
🗺️ Sensible daily route to prevent unnecessary time on the road and repetitive routes
✳️ List of worthy stops to make along your route
🧾 General description of what the day entails and recommendations for alternative plans, when applicable

🗨️ Helpful hints like when to stop for fuel or food
🕒 Recommended time to begin your adventures so that you have ample time to visit my suggested spots
🚙 Estimated time spent on the road each day
🌅 Sunrise and sunset times specific to your location (winter trips only)
🛏️ Restaurant & accommodation recommendations, if not already booked

We bought a package to create custom itenary for 9 days and Gunnar and his team excellent job - each day was planned so perfectly, we couldn’t have asked for anything better, they also suggested food options as for each day as we were vegetarian. They answered all our questions we had on our itenary promptly.

We had also purchased one day photography tour with Gunnar and it was such an amazing experience with him for the whole day . He showed us hidden gems , got us best cinnamon rolls . He is such a kind, humble guy . My daughter learnt a lot about photography with him .

We couldn’t have visited Iceland any other way - it was the best experience we had. Gunnar is so popular yet so so humble person, we felt privileged to be touring with him.

This guide is AMAZING! I used it to plan almost my whole trip. The comments on the driving and weather etc. were especially helpful in deciding which direction to drive the Ring Road and also to narrow down all the things that I could do. I’m traveling in April, so Gunnar’s guidance was especially handy since most guides only cover a season and April is the transition. My only wish was that he wrote guides for other countries. Looking forward to my trip especially the cinnamon rolls!

I’ve been following Gunnar on social media for a while and recently discovered his Iceland guide. As a photographer, Iceland has always interested me, but a lot of the travel info out there feels repetitive. What I really appreciate about this guide is Gunnar’s local perspective—he offers insights you don’t typically find online. While I'll still check out some of the more popular spots, his tips are helping me focus on less-touristy areas, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
