Fagradalsfjall is a mountain located in the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. It is a popular tourist destination due to its stunning views of the surrounding landscape and its proximity to the Blue Lagoon. The mountain is home to a variety of hiking trails, and is also known for its geothermal activity, with a number of hot springs and fumaroles located in the area.

Fagradalsfjall got lately the location of a vulcanic eruption. In March 2021 the earth opened and a small eruption began. It is possible to hike along where the lava was floating and get a glimpse on the newest lava on the island. Today the lava appears black as it is cooling more and more down. Due to hot lava streams which are still under the solid black lava it is still smoking. You are not allowed to step on the lava even though it looks solid. It is unknown how thick the solid part is. Therefore, it could break when stepping on it.

There is a parking lot and official hiking paths in the area. Parking fee: 1,000ISK
