DNT Maistua is an unstaffed cabin located in Harstad , offering stunning views of Vågsfjorden. Renovated for the TV show "Eventyrlig Oppussing," the cabin now boasts a modern interior with 6 sleeping spots. Guests have exclusive use of the cabin, which is locked with a special key. Amenities include electricity, a kitchen with cooking facilities, and a cozy fireplace. The surrounding area offers great hiking opportunities, with a marked trail leading to Vardheia for panoramic views. Remember to bring your own bedding and water, as the cabin does not have running water. You can rent the place or just take a look. It costs money to rent. The hike or ski can be extended with a walk up to Heia 522m with an even better view over Harstad and Vågsfjorden.
