This is a beautiful Balcony Viewpoint. It is an excellent place to observe and appreciate the erosive effect of the natural elements that have shaped the island over the centuries. The Eira do Serrado Viewpoint is situated 1096 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Nun’s Valley and the great mountains of the central massif that surrounds it. This platform was built in 1962. Access to the viewpoint is made by a path that starts at the Inn of Eira do Serrado.
