Don’t skip Como Old Town

One of the best things to do in Como is to simply explore its old town on foot. With cobbled streets and cosy squares lined with historic buildings, shops, and restaurants. The nicest part of the old town is located between the lake and the remains of the old city wall, Porta Torre. It’s in this area that you will find most shops, restaurants, quite a few churches, and several museums.

Como has the most dreamy lakeside promenade in Lake Como Italy, extending over 5km in length! What makes it truly unique is the combination of lush green parks, views of historic villas, vibrant cafés, and the tranquil waters of Lake Como. Look out for Villa Geno, on the east side of the bay! It is a beautiful quaint lido with views of villas on the west and a grassy area , the perfect spot for sunbathing☀️
