Originally established as the Palace Museum in Beijing in 1925, it was later relocated to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War. With over 700,000 pieces spanning 8,000 years of Chinese history, the museum offers a fascinating journey from the Neolithic age to modern times. The museum's expansive building has undergone multiple expansions over the years.
Some must-see artworks: "Meat-Shaped Stone," "Jade Cabbage," and "Mao Gongding." The museum also has exquisite collections of porcelain, Buddhist scriptures, calligraphy, and paintings. While immersing yourself in the country's rich culture and history, you can also enjoy the museum's recreational areas; it's a pretty nice experience!
