Khiva, a city in Uzbekistan with a population of around 93,000 people, has a history dating back 2,500 years. It was once the capital of Khwarezmia and later the Khanate of Khiva. Known for its well-preserved ancient architecture, Khiva is divided into two parts: Dichan Kala and Itchan Kala. The inner town, surrounded by brick walls, houses over 50 historic monuments and 250 old houses. Visitors can explore landmarks like Djuma Mosque, Kalta Minor, and Sherghazi Khan madrassah. With its rich history and cultural significance, Khiva attracts over 200,000 tourists annually.
