Tjarnargígur is one of the most scenic craters in iceland in our opinion. Many people do not know about it but the landscapes are one of a kind with vibrant green moss and a blue lake. To get here you have to take f206 to Laki which requires crossing 2 deepish rivers so a high clearance 4 wheel drive is advised. Please ask this visitor centre https://maps.app.goo.gl/XH1Wqd7TSqR9CdN86 for the river crossing conditions and road conditions beforehand and let them know your vehicle before attempting.
