Bjarnarhöfn Shark Museum provides a unique educational experience about the process of the famous Icelandic fermented shark. Visitors can join a guided tour of the museum and learn about the Greenland sharks biology as well as their importance in Icelandic history. After the tour, visitors can see the drying house where the shark meat is hung and taste the shark meat inside the museum for a unique experience.

Closed in the winter.

Bistro on site as well.
