The Spice Bazaar, or Mısır Çarşısı in Turkish, is one of Istanbul's top tourist attractions (and a great place for photography). It's in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, and right next to my two other favourite places to see - the Grand Bazaar and the Fishermans Bridge. It's also the city's most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.

Built with revenues from the Ottoman Empire's Egypt eyalet in 1660, over the years it has become renowned for its vast array of spices and traditional sweets such as Turkish delight. Today, the bazaar offers a variety of goods from spices to jewellery, dried fruits and nuts, and souvenirs. With its vibrant architecture and bustling atmosphere, the Spice Bazaar is a great place to explore and pick up unique treats from local traders.

It's a fun place to explore, and outside of it is a huge market place outside. Another great place to explore and do some shopping.
