The Galle Fort Hotel is extremely beautiful and luxurious! It's definitely cheap though. If you can stay here, you'll have a really great time as it's location is ideal, right near all the main streets you want to wander on. And even popping by for a coffee on their terrace is well worth it. We did a lot of "coworking" there and the wifi was great.
