bericht van Chris Burkard

The Christmas Cat is a sculpture located in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was created by Icelandic sculptor Steinunn Thorarinsdottir and is made of bronze and steel. The sculpture depicts a large cat with a Christmas tree in its mouth. The cat is a symbol of the Icelandic Christmas tradition of giving gifts to cats on Christmas Eve. The sculpture is a popular tourist attraction and is located in the city center near the harbor. The sculpture can only be seen in winter around the Christmas period.
