When to go and how to get there 🇮🇹 Quando andare e come arrivare

The period is crucial:

In Ibiza, like the other Balearic Islands, there is a Mediterranean-type climate so temperatures and seasons are very similar to those in southern Italy.Therefore, the best time to vacation in Ibiza is summer, but even in spring you can find beautiful days and mild temperatures.

Consider visiting Ibiza during the intermediate seasons (April, May, June, September and October) to enjoy milder weather, fewer crowds and potentially lower prices for accommodations. July and, especially, August are high-cost months. Even if you buy your ticket well in advance, prices remain very high.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Ibiza is located in the Balearic Islands archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. It belongs politically to Spain so you don't need a passport and can be reached with just an ID card, like Barcelona or Madrid!

Ibiza Airport is well connected to major European and Italian cities. In summer, there are direct flights from Milan, Bologna, Rome, Bergamo, Pisa, Catania, Venice, Naples, Florence and Bari. Prices are within the norm, but for the best deals it pays to book in advance. The airlines that connect Italy to Ibiza are Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling and Volotea. The airport is only 7 km from the capital, making it convenient for reaching coastal destinations.

🇮🇹 Il periodo è fondamentale:

A Ibiza, come le altre isole delle Baleari, c’è un clima di tipo mediterraneo quindi le temperature e le stagioni sono molto simili a quelle del Sud Italia: il periodo migliore per una vacanza ad Ibiza è quindi quello estivo, ma anche in primavera si possono trovare belle giornate e temperature miti.

• Considera la possibilità di visitare Ibiza durante le stagioni intermedie (aprile, maggio, giugno, settembre e ottobre) per godere di un clima più mite, meno folla e potenzialmente prezzi più bassi per gli alloggi. Luglio e, soprattutto, agosto sono mesi con costi elevatissimi. Anche acquistando il biglietto con largo anticipo, i prezzi rimangono molto alti.

COME ARRIVARE:

Ibiza si trova nell'arcipelago delle Isole Baleari, nel Mar Mediterraneo.  Appartiene politicamente alla Spagna quindi non serve  il passaporto e può essere raggiunta con la sola carta d’identità, come Barcellona o Madrid!

L'aeroporto di Ibiza è ben collegato con le principali città europee e italiane. In estate, ci sono voli diretti da Milano, Bologna, Roma, Bergamo, Pisa, Catania, Venezia, Napoli, Firenze e Bari. I prezzi sono nella norma, ma per le migliori offerte conviene prenotare in anticipo. Le compagnie aeree che collegano l'Italia a Ibiza sono Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling e Volotea. L'aeroporto dista solo 7 km dal capoluogo, rendendolo comodo per raggiungere le destinazioni costiere.
