The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) opened a self-service cabin called Skåpet, which marked a shift in mountain lodge architecture due to its modern design and features. The architectural project, completed in 2019, has large floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor showers, zinc-clad walls, self-service provisions and six small cabins, all of which provide guests with multiple possibilities for an unforgettable alpine escape! Here you can enjoy hiking in nature, cooking delicious food in the kitchen, or simply taking in the breathtaking view from one of the many accommodations.
