Goosenecks State Park is a breathtaking state park located on the edge of a deep canyon with immense views of one of the most incredible entrenched river meanders in North America. Visitors can take part in all sorts of activities such as camping, picnicking, photography, hiking, and sightseeing. The impressive landscape spans 300 million years of geological activity, with the San Juan River snaking through the desert below. Camping is offered in eight designated sites along the rim, visitors are encouraged to bring their own firewood and water. All guests must pay the $5.00 per-person day use fee and follow all conditions outlined by the park. There is no better way to experience this breathtaking natural wonder than through visiting Goosenecks State Park!
