Stanley is a quaint fishing town located on the north-west coast of Tassie, at the base of the Circular Head peninsula.

We recommend going from a stroll through it's historic town centre, treating yourself to some fish and chips and checking out the beautiful beaches (you can drive on the local Tatlows Beach).

It is also home to the famous Stanley Nut which we have detailed as a seperate recommended place in this guide!
