HOW TO GET THERE:
Take the train to sion and from there catch the bus towards Derborence. ( he bus ride is absolutely crazy, it is going up on a winding road with lots of tunnels and drop off. very exhilarating)
You can hike around the lake ( takes 30 - 40 minutes) have a picnic and enjoy the quiet and slow nature here. Super beautiful.
Facts: Back in the times before the landslides the mountains called Rochers and Scex de Champ and people believed the landslide was a work of the devils. That's why the mountains were renamed to Diablerets which means Devil Mountains. For a long time the lake was considered cursed, now it is a beautiful hiking destination for nature lovers. Serene, quiet and beautiful. Worth to visit.
