Bond Street is a street that resides in the West End of London, linking Piccadilly in the south to Oxford Street in the north. From its creation in the 18th century, Bond Street has hosted prestigious fashion retailers and become one of the most sought after pieces of real estate in Europe. The street is divided into two sections; Old Bond Street and New Bond Street. At the crossroads between these two sits Tiffany & Co., the world-famous jeweller. Throughout Bond Street there are other notable shops, such as Sotheby's auction house, Bonhams and the department store Fenwick. Despite its advance evolution, Bond Street still holds a rich history behind it, highlighted by its time hosting socialite Georgiana Cavendish in the 18th century and art gallery Grosvenor Gallery, known for the comedic libel case brought against John Ruskin in the 19th century. Furthermore, the Allies, an iconic sculpture portraying Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt sitting side-by-side on a bench, stands proudly along the street to this day.
