Islenski Barinn, or "The Icelandic Bar" is the only fully Icelandic bar only serving Icelandic dishes and drinks. The vibe inside is fantastic for a taste of the locals.

I recommend the lobster hot dog, pulled lamb hot dog, and the home made Icelandic Lamb Soup. But you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu.

IF you dare, try the famous Icelandic fermented shark with a shot of Brennivín.
