bericht van Francesco Meola

Palazzo Mannajuolo is an exquisite example of Italian art nouveau architecture and captures the imagination of tourists with its majestic indoor staircase. This remarkable building was commissioned in 1910 by businessman and engineer Giuseppe Mannajuolo, and features an impressive western facade comprised of alternating concave and convex elements topped off with a false dome. The interior staircase is particularly striking with its wrought iron parapet and embossed marble steps.

As it's a private palace, you need to ask permission to see the staicase and they will usually allow you to! It's truly impressive, but you won't be able to climb it
