Road's End Cabin is located just 22 minutes South-East from the centre of Dunedin.
The cabin was carefully designed and beautifully crafted by hosts, Paula and Nathan. It has three rooms consisting of a food preparation area, bathroom and large bedroom and living space with a wood burner. There are decks on three sides of the cabin, providing different seating areas to enjoy as the sun moves throughout the day.
Although it's so close to the city centre, you'll feel miles from anywhere at this little cabin. It's set high on a hill amongst mature manuka trees, overlooking the coastline. Surrounded by farmland and bush, with beautiful views out to sea - you feel immersed in nature. Watching a storm approaching from the sea or a summer sunset through the floor to ceiling windows is like having a full-screen nature TV all to yourself.
Being surrounded by flowering manuka in the summer months brings in the most beautiful birds and insects. If bird watching is your thing, prepare to be dazzled by the dancing fantails, the song of the bellbird and tui, and the swooping of the kereru.
