This short snowshoe trail near Lucerne offers incredible mountain views and an enjoyable outing. After taking the Fell-Chrüzhütte cable car to the top of the mountain, embark on a loop trail that crosses the ski slope and leads to a frozen alpine lake.

The trail is moderate in difficulty with some steep climbs, and it's easy to get diverted by the stunning scenery. After working up an appetite, you can enjoy a traditional Swiss sausages and snacks at the cafe near the cable car.
